Trained as an architect and holding PhD in Urban Planning, Design and Policy, I am currently a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies in Politecnico di Milano. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, I have lived in Paris for three years and I am based in Milan since 2016. I am attracted to matters regarding the relationship between the human body and its surroundings (either built or natural); the effects of human presence and actions on landscape; the impact of tourism in insular regions; cultural heritage and place identity in remote territories; matters of scale (from territorial to micro), visual representation and abstraction.
